Cheese Making Classes

Join celebrated Udder Delights cheese maker (and one of the state’s newest brewers) Sheree Sullivan for a fun and informative cheesemaking class.

Be prepared for a hands-on experience where you get to do and eat everything. You’ll craft your own feta, while also learning how the same recipe can be used to make camembert, and lots more!

Taste your way through an in-depth masterclass featuring five cheeses and fresh-baked ciabatta, plus a glass of Hesketh wine or Grunthal beer. You’ll learn how to make cheese before enjoying coffee or tea and a selection of house-made cakes.

Each guest will leave with recipes and some small items to help with home cheese-making, plus a $10 voucher to spend in store.

The class costs $190 per head and is run in the Greenhouse of Udder Delights Cheese Cellar’s new home Grunthal Brew in Verdun.

FREE Homemade Feta Guide!

Have you always wanted to make cheese, but haven’t had time to come to a class? We’ve written a recipe for you to follow at home. The instructions take you through the steps of how to make a semi firm slightly salty feta – and we also outline how you marinate it to get lots of shelf life from it. This recipe is like starting with a basic cake recipe – practice it, and perfect it, and then go on to a harder recipe.
